Office of the Chief

The Chief of Police is the highest-ranking officer in a police department and is responsible for overseeing all law enforcement operations, personnel, and community safety initiatives. As the department’s leader, the Chief develops policies, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws. They work closely with government officials, community leaders, and other agencies to address crime, implement public safety programs, and foster positive relationships between law enforcement and the public. The Chief also provides strategic direction, oversees training and development, and ensures officers uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
